Program: Biomedical Engineering 

Madison obtained her undergraduate degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2017. She is currently working on her graduate degree at Wake Forest University in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, and is a graduate research assistant in Dr. Ellie Rahbar’s lab.  Her research interests include biomaterials and tissue engineering. Madison’s project focuses on the optimization of a liver organoid model for the in vitro study of hepatic lipid metabolism.
