Ravichandra is a post-doctoral research fellow in comparative medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He received his PhD in health science from University of Tasmania, Australia (2019). Ravi is generally interested in the gut health and aging studies. Most of his PhD work is on understanding gut microbiome and related mechanism in the aging mouse model. His research interests include aging, microbiome, metabolism, and the immune system.
Qingxia Zhao, PhD

Qingxia’s research interests include:
1) The molecular link between cellular metabolism and innate Immunity
2) The effect of glucose metabolism and inflammation on the pathogenesis of chronic metabolic disease such as atherosclerosis, diabetes and obesity; as well as their effect on acute inflammatory diseases such as sepsis.
