Program: Cancer Biology

Stephanie is a highly motivated researcher whose focus is primarily on cancer research. She has experience in tissue culture and molecular biology techniques developed through her laboratory experience at both East Carolina University and Wake Forest School of Medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree from East Carolina in 2016. She completed a thesis describing the interaction between the small Maf family of transcriptional regulators with HTLV-1 basic leucine zipper factor (HBZ). Stephanie is currently working in Dr. Waldemar Debinski’s lab, on a project involving the immune microenvironment of glioblastoma tumors.
