Sumaiya Ashfaq Nazli

Sumaiya was born in Dubai, UAE and traveled a lot growing up. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Salem College. She is a 3rd year Molecular Medicine and Translational Science PhD student in Dr. Michael Olivier’s lab. Currently, Sumaiya is studying plasma proteomics in mass spectrometry to better assess diseased tissue markers in blood. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, community-based volunteer work, and doing any kind of puzzles.
