Priyanka received her Bachelor of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and her Master of Veterinary Sciences (veterinary pathology) at the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, CSKHPKV Palampur, India.
Her research interests include following acute exposure to higher doses of radiation in accidental/war-like situations or clinical exposure during chest irradiation exposes normal healthy lung tissue to high doses of ionization irradiation leading to acute lung injury which may progress to incurable lung fibrosis. Priyanka’s focus is to study various aspects of “Radiation-induced lung injury” including pathogenesis and progression using a multidisciplinary approach in a non-human primate model.
